Heat-Flow Measurements Laboratory

  • Acquisition systems constituted by cables with four conductors, 200m and 700m long, maximum Temperature measured 200 °C. Sensor thermo-resistance sensor Pt-100, sensibility 0.001 °C accuracy 0.01 °C.

  • Manual acquisition system of thermal data with cable 450 m long, maximum Temperature measured 140 °C. Thermo-resistance Pt-100, sensibility 0.01 °C, accuracy 0.03 °C.

  • "Shoterm QTM", thermal conductivity gauge.


Magnetotelluric Laboratory

  • 2 Phoenix-V5 systems, including non-polarizing electrodes, 4 broad-range induction coils and 2 magnetic loops. Frequency range 320 - 5•10-4Hz.

  • 3 Narod Intelligent Magnetotelluric Systems (NIMS). Frequency range 0.5 - 3•10-5Hz, 24 bit digital sampling, including 3 fluxgate magnetometers.

  • 2 2-channels (telluric) receivers West Systems to couple with NIMS receivers. Frequency range 0.5 - 3•10-5Hz, 24 bit digital sampling, including non-polarizing electrodes.

  • 1 controlled-source Magnetotelluric receiver Geometrics Stratagem, including 2 sets of EMI induction coils, pre-amplified metallic and non-polarizing electrodes. Total frequency range 105-0.1Hz


Gravity Laboratory

  • 1 Lacoste-Romber gravimeter
