Activities Seismic. The site is equipped with a permanent network of seismic sensors deployed in several deep wells surrounding our geothermal platform. In complement to the down-hole network, a surface network of seismic stations is setting by EOST Strasbourg. Other geophysical methods are implemented by our scientific partners (EOST Strasbourg, Igem Mainz) or are sub contracted (Baker, I FP, Landtech) Borehole logging are run by servicing companies (Schlumberger)
Equipment Geothermal drillholes: 3 wells at 5 km depth, 1 well at 3,6 km depth, 1 well at 2,2 km depth Core section: about 800 m length of granite core sections 5 seismic observation wells An ORC power plant is under construction (1.5 MWe) Two production pumps are under preparation for the geothermal loop. A 2,5 km fiber optic cable is deployed in a deep observation well for measuring temperature. This equipment belongs to GTC Karlsruhe. Drillhole equipments such as well heads are designed by Bestec Kandel.
