The results of several experiences of ground-water stimulation wells using
explosives are presented. The results of this kind of experiences can contribute
with interesting information for the geothermal wells and they allow to value
with great detail the produced effects. The interpretation of this type of
experiments also allows to define lines of investigation for situations of greater
depth and therefore with greater risks and costs. The difficulties, not only
normative but also technical, using explosives for the stimulation of wells don't
allow to predict big espectativas as for their future utilization if one keeps in
mind their scarce effectiveness in the increment of productivity of the wells.
