| Hydro-mechanical behaviour of GPK3 and GPK4 during the hydraulic stimulation tests – Influence of the stress field |

This paper will deal with the hydro-mechanical modelling of the stimulation of the
fracture network around GPK3 and GPK4 at Soultz-sous-Forêts. Two stress fields are
taken into account : the classical one used up to now, determined by Klee and Rummel
(1993), and the new one determined by Cornet & al. (2006). Their influence in terms
of shearing and normal displacements in the main fractures of the rock mass during
hydraulic stimulations is analysed.
