The FirstGeoTherm GmbH is a company that developes and realises turn-key geothermal-
projects in the Oberrheingraben in Germany. Together with powerfull partners in
drilling and powerplant-design, FirstGeoTherm is able to realise geothermal projects
from the first idea to the acceptance-test of the installed and tested powerplant.
ORC-powerplants are able to use low-temperature-sources to generate electricity. To
show the variability and reliability of ORMAT-OEC-Units the presentation compares
two powerplants, one using Clinker Cooler exhaust air with rapidly changing
temperatures and one using water from a geothermal well.
